Kevin Mattice, user experience architect, is a former Air Force intelligence analyst and Gulf War veteran whose entire career has been oriented around the collection, processing, analysis, and presentation of information. After 12 years in the military (the last three of which were spent training others in the intelligence disciplines), he entered the civilian world of user experience design.
Since leaving the Air Force in 1997, Kevin has held a number of different positions, including 2D and 3D illustrator, technical writer, usability analyst, and interaction designer. His recent experience is comprised of stints as a user experience designer and information architect with various companies in the telecommunications sector, national security, online travel, and corporate consulting. Kevin is currently employed by Texas Instruments as a Senior Experience Architect, designing web-based, desktop, and mobile applications.
